Are you seeking a practice where you can spend meaningful time with patients, enjoy true work–life balance, and feel valued by both your colleagues and the community? Our established family health organization (FHO) is offering a rare and outstanding opportunity.
The Opportunity
- Take over the patient panel of a retiring physician in a longstanding, community-supported clinic.
- Flexible scheduling, with no minimum days or patient volumes required.
- Current model: 1 patient every 30 minutes, 4 days per week, billing $35,000–$38,000/month. You are welcome to change the model however you’d prefer.
- 5-year contract, with full community support and appreciation.
- Practice in a collegial, collaborative group with excellent EMR and organized systems.
Compensation & Incentives
- $100,000 relocation incentive (community-funded, tied to 5-year contract, and paid out evenly over 5 years).
- FHO model within a Family Health Team (FHT).
- Fixed overheads based on the number of half-days worked.
- Physicians bill directly, and colleagues will provide guidance and support with billing.
- Option to develop special interests (procedures such as suturing, biopsies, joint injections, etc.).
Practice Environment & Support
- 2 exam rooms per physician.
- Office manager + 3 experienced MOAs (3–6 years with the clinic).
- FHT nurse onsite one day per week.
- Collegial group with senior physicians for mentorship.
- Work-from-home option one day per week (currently phone visits).
Call & After-Hours Coverage
- Shared urgent care coverage with other FHO physicians.
- Typically 1–4 shifts per month (weekday evenings 5–8pm or weekend blocks of 3–6 hours).
